JACKSON, Miss.—An event aimed at getting God back at the center of people’s lives is taking place Saturday at the Mississippi State Capital.
The 9th hour event will start at 1 p.m. with music and food but will culminate at 3 p.m. when all in attendance will join in prayer for leaders and fellow countrymen according to their press release.
The release says the event it for God to heal the land by blessing communities, leaders, and churches in the area.
Ultimately there is a 9th hour prayer event to be held in the nation’s capital sometime in August of 2014 and this is supposed to get the momentum started.
