DUI in Spotlight

Officials of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety plan a major announcement Wednesday, August 15th.
Gulfport Police Chief Alan Weatherford will talk about his experience as a father whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver as she prepared for her wedding.
Governor Phil Bryant will make an historic announcement regarding alcohol-related fatalities in Mississippi.
Also, DPS/MHP officials will discuss plans to participate for the tenth year in the Labor Day enforcement effort to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. Please join us at 1:00 p.m. on the first floor of DPS Headquarters in Jackson at 1900 East Woodrow Wilson, Wednesday, August 15th.
