D'IBERVILLE, Miss.--A deadly wreck on Interstate 110 Saturday morning claimed the lives of Alex Hernandez and his five-year-old daughter Ashlin. The car the two were driving in was hit from behind as they searched for the mother's disabled vehicle, which ended up being just a couple of minutes away.
Arrested and charged with felony DUI, causing death was 25-year-old Andrew James Good of Texas, who had been working in south Mississippi, according to coast authorities. He's in jail on a half million dollar bond for each count.
Biloxi Police told media that one of their officers happened upon the wreck while he was on his way to work shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday. Good had two passengers in his vehicle. All were treated for minor injuries and released.
