JACKSON, MISS. -- SuperTalk Mississippi announced today the addition of Head to Head with Richard Cross and Matt Wyatt in the Monday – Friday 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. timeslot beginning Jan. 2, 2013.

Matt Wyatt and Richard Cross are known statewide for their engaging and entertaining sports/talk show Head to Head.  These two rivals bring fun and entertainment to the airwaves. Richard Cross, a native of Oxford, Miss. and a graduate of The University of Mississippi, brings a decade of knowledge and industry contacts to the Mississippi radio airwaves. Cross is the recipient of two Miss. Assoc. of Broadcasters Gold Awards and has worked for Fox Sports Radio and the Sporting News Radio Network.

Matt Wyatt, a former Southeastern Conference quarterback at Mississippi State University who was raised in Alabama, has a unique knowledge of all things SEC, including the Ole Miss-Mississippi State rivalry. Wyatt has the talent to take his knowledge and experience as a player and broadcaster to the radio and give listeners a new, unique and fresh perspective.

While Head to Head will still devote a large amount of time to discussing sports, Matt and Richard will also incorporate other topics ranging from breaking news, politics, current events, lifestyle and state news. “If the people of Mississippi are talking about it, we’ll be talking about it,” said Wyatt and Cross.

“We’re very excited Matt and Richard have decided to join the SuperTalk family,” said Telesouth President Kim Dillon. “We feel they are a perfect fit and that our listeners will embrace the show.”

SuperTalk Mississippi, a division of Telesouth Communications, is a statewide news/talk radio network heard statewide via ten FM radio signals.
