JACKSON, Miss.--Over $100,000 was gone before someone found out what was going on with 65-year-old Randall Alexander Anselmo and 56-year-old Judy Quinn Anselmo. The husband and wife have both been indicted by a Pearl River County Grand Jury, accused of stealing the money from a vulnerable adult relative.
Atty. Gen. Jim Hood said the wife was arrested Oct. 17 and the husband turned himself in this week. Their bonds were set at $10,000.
Hood didn't offer many details about exactly what happened. He described the victim only as a vulnerable relative and said the couple stole money from that relative for about a year and a half before they were caught. The money included Social Security checks and an annuity payment, plus other monies.
He also said it was with and without the consent of the victim.
Both Anselmos face up to 10 years in prison if they are convicted.
