MERIDIAN, Miss.--Trouble in the Queen City-crime is up and police have their hands full after a weekend of armed robberies and a deadly Saturday night shooting.

Terrianda Collins was shot dead late Saturday night in front of an apartment complex at 15th St. and 22nd Ave. Family members told WTOK TV they believe it was gang-related. Police say they haven’t determined that yet. There are no suspects yet and cops are asking for your help if you have any information.

Now to the series of armed robberies in Meridian over the weekend. Cops have made an arrest in the third one.  The suspect’s name has not been released.  Officers say he walked into a Cefco on Hwy. 39 north Sunday afternoon with a gun and took cash from a register before running away on foot.  They are still looking for suspects in the other two hold ups.
