BROOKHAVEN, Miss.--Nine people, including a husband and wife, are in the Lincoln County lock-up after a joint sting operation Tuesday. The accused drug dealers got knocks on their doors early in the morning from the Miss. Bureau of Narcotics, the Southwest Mississippi Narcotics Task Force and local cops.
All nine were described as low to mid-level dealers, with a regular buffet of prescription drugs, including mainly hyrocodone, and illicit street drugs like meth, ice, pot and crack.
MBN Director Marshall Fisher said the sting was called OPERATION: Neighborhood Watch and was the culmination of a two-month investigation.
He said at least three more arrests are expected before it's over.
