Nursing Home Worker accused of Stealing Patient’s Painkillers

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. -- A nurse is home free on bond today after being indicted on a charge of stealing pain pills from a nursing home patient. 

Attorney General Jim Hood says Christina Lynn Henderson, 45, Vancleave was working as a licensed practical nurse at Ocean Springs Nursing Center when she allegedly took a patient’s Norco pills.  That’s a prescription painkiller that contains hydrocodone. 

If convicted, Henderson faces up to 5 years in prison.
