JACKSON, Miss. – Those were not streakers in the capital city Tuesday they were PETA members. Two nearly naked women held a sign a banner that read, “Bare Skin, Don’t Wear Skin,” as part of an ongoing protest against cruelty to animals.
“It’s the twenty first century, and we can choose to be cruel or choose to be kind. With so many fashionable, warm, and comfortable alternatives, there really no reasons to wear any animals fur or skin,” PETA campaigner Matt Bruce.
Many passersby got a glimpse of the two women decked in, high heels, flesh colored panties, and pasties. Here is what a few them had to say.
“Whatever works for your group I guess. I don’t think I would be out there.”
“Interesting, for these girls to do this. It’s kind of chilly today, but hey, whatever gets attention, and whatever works for your group, I guess. I don’t think I would be out there.”
PETA members said this is an ongoing campaign, and they have been doing it for years across the country.
