ALCORN COUNTY, Miss.--A child clings to life today, the victim of what cops think may have been a murder-suicide attempt. It happened Tuesday night in Alcorn County, just before midnight.
WTVA reports a 51-year-old man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound in his apartment. That was at the Farmington Apartments on County Rd. 200, according to Alcorn County Chief Investigator Tommy Hopkins. Also in the house, his 11 year-old son, also shot and now in critical condition after being airlifted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
