COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Mentally unstable man may be responsible for vandalism. 28 year old Jonathan Joiner was arrested Monday by Columbus Police charged with one count of felony malicious mischief. The Dispatch reports police describing Joiner as a paranoid schizophrenic. Emergency calls were made just after 12:30 Monday about a man hurling a rock through the door of a Wonderbread store, then going next door to a Shell station where he threw merchandise around, afterwards he ran out to jump on cars attempting to break the windows. Joiner is also believed to be responsible for the vandalism of at least 4 other businesses Sunday.
