MADISON, Miss. – He may have reported your weather, now WLBT meteorologist Eric Law is behind bars. He is accused sex-crimes involving a minor.
Law was arrested Thursday morning by the Madison Police Department. He faces two counts of sexual battery and two counts of gratification of lust involving a girl under the age of 16.
“It was forwarded to us from another agency that received the information regarding Mr. Law. We picked it up and took over the investigation due to jurisdiction issues,” said Lt. Eddie Lawrence.
Law’s bond has been set at $200,000, $50,000 for each charge against him. WLBT reports Law has been suspended from the station until further notice.
