Central MS :

  • Anyone wanting to Volunteer to Help, PLEASE do NOT self Deploy! Register HERE
  • Tornado Relief Drive today at Madison and Flowood Wal-Mart from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Items needed include bottled water, gatorade, toiletries, cleaning supplies, baby supplies. Please do NOT bring clothing items. All donations will stay LOCAL. You can also text the word “Jackson” to 80888 to donate $10 to the Salvation Army in Jackson. Your donation will be added to your phone bill.
  • Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon is accepting some clothes as well as Gift Cards (Wal-Mart, VISA Cards). Their immediate concern is helping those affected at the The Highlands trailer park in Pearl.
  • Rankin county Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Relief Drive with drop off location at 101 Service Drive in Brandon.  Items needed: Tarps, work gloves, water, non-perishable foods, gift cards, toiletries (toilet paper, wet wipes, wash cloths, etc).  Donations accepted through Thursday May 1st at noon.

Louisville (Winston county) :

  • If you are missing family or friends in Winston County please call 662-803-9991.

  • Needs in Louisville : socks, shoes, wipes, towels, sheets, hand sanitizer, bandages, medical supplies, disinfectants, bottled water, and individually wrapped snacks. Drop off location is Coliseum in Louisville FBC and UMC Church’s on Main St. 
  • They are requesting NO USED CLOTHING TO BE DONATED!
  • Shelters: First Baptist and First Methodist in Winston County.
  • Updated needs list : Socks – all sizes: Men/Women/Children, Underwear : Men/Women/Children, Toothbrush & toothpaste, Children’s clothes – all sizes, Men/Women’s Clothing: Larger Sizes, Shoes – all sizes, Toilet paper, Towels, Wash clothes , Soap, Shampoo, Hand soap, Blankets, Sheets, Pillows, Pillow cases, Wipes, Diapers, Clorox wipes, Tarps, Gallon jugs of water to flush toilets, Disinfectant, Band aids, Bandages, Peroxide (For people to keep their wound clean)

Tupelo :

  • Anyone wanting to Volunteer to Help in Tupelo, please register through the United Way: 662-841-9133
  • Plate lunches and bottle water at 11:00 at Oak Ridge Christian church in Tupelo for those needing food
  • Shelters : BancorpSouth in Tupelo
  • Showers : Showers open at FBC Tupelo until 5:00 p.m.
  • Plate lunches and bottle water at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Church in Tupelo for those needing food.
  • Salvation Army of Tupelo is taking just about anything, new/used
  • Items needed (dropoff at BancorpSouth Arena in Tupelo): Water, personal hygiene products, diapers & baby supplies, toilet tissue, non-perishable food items, encouraging monetary donations, NO CLOTHING at this time please
  • Dumas Volunteer Fire Department in Dumas, MS will be taking up donations for Tupelo tornado victims. Members will be at the station on May 2, 2014 from 3 p.m until 8 p.m. and May 3, 2014 from 8 a.m until noon to receive donations.
    Items needed:
    Bottled water
    Gatorade
    Non perishable foods
    Baby wipes
    Hand sanitizer
    Toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc)
