TeleSouth Communications, Inc., and the SuperTalk Mississippi Network are embarking on a mission to inspire and encourage all Mississippians across our state to embrace a life of health, fitness and nutrition.  According to a June 2010 report from the Trust for America’s Health (TFAH) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), Mississippi is the most obese state in the country.  Adult onset diabetes and childhood obesity is on the rise along with the many accompanying medical conditions.  The SuperTalk MS Health and Fitness Expo is an opportunity for healthcare and fitness industry providers to showcase their products and services to area residents who are seeking to achieve good health and a better quality of life.   This is the first of a series of health and fitness expos that will be held in communities throughout the State of Mississippi with the goal of moving Mississippians off the bottom of the obesity list and into a healthy and happy lifestyle.
