U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, of Mississippi’s Second District, weighing in on the TSA and Homeland Security’s announcement that flight attendants will get faster security screening under the Known Crewmember Program. Thompson is Ranking Member of the House Committee on Homeland Security and we got this statement:

By doing so, TSA will be able to allocate its limited screening resources more effectively and, hopefully, reduce security checkpoint congestion.

He says there’s still more to be done.
