Another Scorcher in North Mississippi-Rest of the State Still Mighty Hot

SOUTHAVEN, Miss.--There are increased risks for heat-related illnesses once again in north Mississippi and a heat advisory for Thursday. The actual temperatu...re is expected at around 96, with a heat index at 105 to 109. It's still hot for the rest of the state, but not quite that hot. Temperatures-95 central, 93 south, with a 50 percent rain chance on the coast.
The forecast has central Mississippi with increased rain chances Friday and Saturday. Northern counties have less of a chance for showers.
