JACKSON, Miss.--Mississippi weather will be changing from north to south, beginning today. Forecasts from the National Weather Service have rain chances increasing in north Mississippi today and headed into Central and south Mississippi by Sunday and Monday, respectively.
The first part of next week promises to be wet and cooler, with highs coming down from near 90 Saturday, to 82 and 83 degrees for most places by Monday and Tuesday.
We spoke with Meteorologist Brian Koeneke about changes in the overall weather pattern. He tells us, even though we may see some more 90 degree days, it looks like fall weather will be moving in with a series of cold fronts.
