CLINTON, Miss. -- Money was taken from a Clinton Walmart this morning just before 6am by a man pretending to make a purchase. When the cashier opened up the register the customer reached over and grabbed money from the drawer and ran out of the store. No one was hurt in the incident and no arrests have been made. Some media sources report this incident as a robery, but Clinton Police Cheif Don Byington tell us it was just petty larceny. If you have any information on the crook call Clinton Police.
