Man Accused of Having Sex With Twelve-Year-Old

Columbus, Miss.--  We now have new information on the sexual battery charge against 28-year-old Rafael Payne of Columbus.
The Columbus Police Department spokeswoman Glenda Buckhalter says, "Rafael was arrested for having sex with a juvenile that was 12-years-old."

The crime is still under investigation at this time by authorities.

Buckhalter says, "His initial appearance will be November 1st and his bond is $5,000."

Authorities aren't releasing any other information at this time.
