Mother and Daughter Await Court Date in Bank Robbery Case

GULFPORT, Miss. -- A mother and daughter duo have been in custody since March 26th after the hold up of Regions bank in Gulfport. Evie Mearlene Herrin, 57, and Alemia Darci Crew, 30, of Cleveland, Texas are accused of taking over 12 thousand bucks from the bank. Federal indictments accuse the two of robbing to other banks in Louisiana. Their court date is set for October 1st. The Clarion Ledger reports they intend to accept a plea agreement.
