Corinth, Miss.-- A petition in Corinth, Miss. is beginning to gain steam as the days grow shorter.

According to the official website, www.corinthforavote.com, there have been 1,275 Corinth city residents sign the petition to have a liquor vote.

The bench mark to get it put on a ballot is 2,400 signatures.

One must be only 18 years old and a registered voter in the city of Corinth to sign it.
