Jackson, Miss.-- Good weather for the entire state is expected for Mississippi headed into the weekend.
As rain pushed through the mid-south earlier this week, that has given was to unseasonable lows and cooler, dryer air.
"Really the chilliest of the temperatures are probably this morning," exclaimed meteorologist Brad Bryant. "Over the next few days we will begin to warm back up towards seasonal temperatures."
The average high in Mississippi for this time of year is around 85-87 degrees fahrenheit and that will get back to normal over the next two to three days.
Where things will be different though is for the lows. Statewide temperatures at night have consistently been well below the low 60's that is average for this time of year.
That will remain a theme as another cold front pushes into the regoin Saturday keeping the evening hours cooler. "We don't expect this cold front to be as strong as the last one, but enough to keep things below average, " says Bryant.
Chance of rain statewide are almost 0% all the way through the weekend.
