Damage from Hurricane Isaac has stundted Louisiana's pecan harvest this year, but how does Mississippi fair? Andrew Copeland, owner of Bass Pecans in Raymond tells News Mississippi, "Our trees are full of pecans and have already started falling. We beleive that may stagger the prices or even slightly lower them." 

Copeland tells us pecan businesses in other states aren't doing as well as Mississippi this year.

"The drought hit Oklahama pretty pad this year, Texas has faired terribly and Georgia as well."

If you have a hankering for some pecans Mississippi is the place to be.
