Forest, Miss. -- Its almost time to cast your ballots, and the days you have left ot register are ticking away. If you want to register to vote you have until October 6.
Forest County Circuit Clerk Lou Ellen Adams says, "Our office stays open till noon Saturday and it should be that way state wide that day.
"Registration must be 30 days before an election. You need to go to the circuit court office in the county that you live in. You need to have your address, date of birth, and social security number, or just the last 4 digits of that. After being registered you will be given a card with your precinct address that you can vote at" Says Adams.
If you are in doubt on where you are registered to vote now is the time to call your Clerk's office and ask. If you wait until election day it will be too late.
