Missing Alabama Man Last Seen in Mississippi

KOSCIUSKO, Miss.--The disappearance of an Alabama man last seen in Attala County has the attention of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation. Twenty-year-old Nicholas Jones is a white male, 6 ft. 2, 200 lbs., with hazel eyes and brown hair. He was last seen about 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, walking west on Hwy. 14. He was wearing khaki pants, a white t-shirt and tennis shoes.

Since that time, Attala County deputies have learned that he may have been using a fake name-Jobe Williams. The reason for that is unclear.

The MBI says Attala residents found Jones'  silver 1999 Chevy Blazer on a county road. Authorities are not elaborating on why Jones was in Attala County. He lives in the 300 block of Brookwood Drive in Auburn, Alabama.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Nicholas Jones, please contact the Attala County Sheriff’s Department at 662-289-3476.
