HARRISON COUNTY, Miss.-- Yesterday News Mississippi brought you a story of a Sunday night train collision that caused one fatality in Harrison County.
The victim yesterday was not named but reports Monday evening name her as 40-year-old Melanie Nestle of Gulfport.
Officials say her car became stuck on the tracks around 8 p.m. and that's when the collision occurred.
No one else was in the car at the time of the crash.
Officials in Harrison County are still investigating the incident and not many details are known surrounding the crash as to whether she saw the train coming and was stuck or was oblivious to its proximity.
