Mississippi Reacts to Romney/Obama Debate

JACKSON, Miss.--Mississippians from across the state are reacting to the Romney Obama presidential debate from Wednesday night.

"If you love your grandchildren, you've got to elect Romney," said one grandmother we spoke with.

News Mississippi used our state-wide resources to get reaction from people who watched the debate last night. We got many different comments about how the two did.

Audio:

"I think the debate went well. Mitt Romney said what he was gonna do to change the economy, but he didn't say how," said one man.

"I thought that Mr. Romney did a fantastic job. He could look the camera in the eye. He could look his opponent in the eye, which is more than I can say for the president," said another.

Another man commented about a statement by Obama.

"It was about a tax break for overseas businesses and then Romney came back and said he had been in business for 25 years and that was new to him. I thought that was great and the president didn't have a rebuttal to that."
