One Dead, Three Injured in North Miss. Crash

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss.--A two-lane county road was the site of a wreck that claimed the life of a 17-year-old male Monday. Marshall County Coroner Jimmy Warren told News Mississippi it happened in the 400 block of St. Paul Rd. at about 7 p.m.

The Marshall County Sheriff's dept. is still investigating to find out what happened. Here's what we know so far:

A Chevy Trailblazer and a Ford Taurus collided at the crest of a hill. That's according to Warren. He says a 15, 16 and 18-year-old were all injured and two of those had to be airlifted to a Memphis hospital. The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two of the teens injured were females. Warren said deputies were still busy at the scene and that Major Kelly McMillen, with the sheriff's office, was expected to release more details Tuesday.
