MERIDIAN, Miss.-- The Meridian Police Department has released a sketch-artist drawing of the suspect that's now sought in an attempted kidnapping.

Police say a 14-year-old girl was the intended victim Saturday when a white male approached her.

The press realease from MPD says the girl was able to escape from the man and run away before anything happened to her.

It is said the man fled a black ford pickup truck that's believed to be an XLT model.  The truck has american flag and eagle stickers on the back.

The man is described as tall and skinny with semi-curly hair and appeared to be in his mid-20's.

At the time of the incident the man was said to have been wearing a black shirt and blue jeans with a hole in one knee.
