JACKSON, Miss. -- Miss Rodeo Mississippi 2012 needs your help.
“I compete for Miss Rodeo American in Los Vegas in 2013,” said Samantha Golden. “It’s very similar to the Miss America Pageant. Except instead of having a talent, we compete in horse back riding.”
Getting to that pageant is going take a lot of money. And you can help by supporting a fundraiser at the Ag Museum in Jackson this Monday night.
It’s the Buckles and Crowns Dinner Dance,” said State Ag Commissioner Cindy Hyde-Smith. That’s where the Honky Tonk Angles will perform live for the first time ever. Those angles include, Golden, Hyde-Smith, State Treasure Lynn Fitch, First Lady Deborah Bryant and Senator Melanie Sojourner.
Tickets are $60; and are on sale today through Friday at the Farmers Market in Jackson.
