Text message lands three in jail on drug charnges

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. -- A text message to the wrong number lands three men behind bars in Calhoun County on drug charges.

The woman who got that text message just so happens to be a friend of Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan.  “She called me and told me what was going on.  So I sent a deputy to meet with her,” he explained.
The deputy then takes the cell phone and starts replying to the text messages.  “He made the price to my deputy.  Told him, he would take $200 for 27 pills.  And then he set up a meeting place.”

The deputy borrowed an unmarked car and headed to meet the man he had been texting.  When the man showed up, depuites say he had the drugs, a pistol, a child and two other adults in the car with him.

Danielle Gray, Ira Holmes and Talkela Moore are charnged with conspiracy to sell drugs and child endangerment.
