COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. -- The elusive Linda Gale Reed was not in Mexico but Texas, now she is in the Copiah County Jail. She was arrested at 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning in Longview, Texas after a traffic stop.
The 65-year-old had been missing since April 29. She was reported missing April 30 after her GMC Evoy was found in the woods off i-55. Earlier this month she was charged with embezzlement after an independent audit discovered more than $20,000 was missing from the business she worked at as a bookkeeper.
