GREENVILLE, Miss.-- As many as six Native American tribes have converged on the Mississippi Delta this week.
The annual program that celebrates American Indian culture, Native American Days is ongoing once again at the Winterville Mounds State Park.
Spokeperson Susie Smith says, "We invite Native Americans to come and show off their arts and crafts, the games, the storytelling and more."
The event includes dances from each tribe on stage and Smith says it's a very hands-on event where young people can learn.

This include the kids being able to participate in actually games Native Americans played years ago and get an insight into their everyday life.
Smith adds, "We are probably expected about five to six-thousand guests to come and visit over the span of a few days."
The tribes in attendance this year come from Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
Lots of fun for kids awaits at Native American Days and plenty of superb artwork made by the tribes will keep the avid art-collector having fun.
