Friends: Miss. Man Injured in Plane Crash Dies

CONWAY, Ark.--Friends of 65-year-old Robert Allen, who was injured in an Arkansas plane crash Wednesday, are saying he has died. That news was posted on an internet blog overnight.

Conway Police told KARK News 4 that the plane took off just after noon from the Conway airport, which is to the northwest of Little Rock. Witnesses told cops the plane appeared to have engine trouble before it crash.

Allen, who is from Oxford,  was rushed to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hospital in Little Rock after the plane fell from the sky and landed on a fence.
