Teachers in Trouble for Inappropriate Acts With Children

Iris Barnes contributed to this report.

ABERDEEN, Miss.--Bryan K. Flanner was a teacher at the Advanced Learning Center in Becker. But, with the 28-year-old's Thursday arrest, he may not be teaching again. Charges include two counts of statutory rape. Sheriff's investigators didn't give out many details to media Thursday. Flanner's bond was set at $30,000.

In New Albany, Benjamin Bishop was a teacher at Christian Academy. He was indicted this week on charges of exploitation of a child. Prosecutors told the Grand Jury that Bishop met his 15-year-old victim over the internet.
