JACKSON, Miss. --Whether or not you have acres of farmland or just grow tomatoes in you back yard, the Annual Mississippi Fruit and Vegetable Growers Conference Trade Show was the place to be Thursday in the capital city.
President of the Mississippi Fruit and Vegetable growers association, Jim Ewing tells me the conference is all about growing good food, healthy food, and local food. Growers from all over the state participated to share methods, secrets, and other information about cultivating their own food.
This year's conference was also co-hosted by the Mississippi Agrotourism Association, hoping to promote business and Mississippi’s agriculture heritage.
