RIDGELAND, Miss.--You've probably seen the video where Party City manager Bobby Adams was gunned down as he tried to keep an armed robber outside the Ridgeland store's door in October. Cops in that city have now arrested 22-year-old Undra Ward, an employee of the store.
WAPT-TV reported the arrest happened Sunday. An arrest warrant was also issued for 21-year-old Joshua Leon Archie.
In the video, a black male with dreads is seen trying to get into the back door of the store. The 68-year-old manager pushes him out and closes the door, but doesn't get it locked before the assailant makes it back in and shoots Adams in the chest. He then takes $2,000 in cash.
The getaway vehicle seen on the video was recovered about two weeks ago. Cops had been combing through evidence left behind in the Chevy SUV.
Adams was nearing retirement and had planned a move with his wife to Kentucky to be with family there.
