JACKSON, Miss.--More of your friends and neighbors are headed to Afghanistan. Wednesday at 10 a.m. there's a send-off for the 102nd Mobile Public Affairs Detachment of the Miss. National Guard.

The group of 20 will serve for one year and will coordinate media coverage of military activities in the war zone.

The send-off will be at the Raymond Rd. National Guard Readiness Center in Jackson. News Mississippi will be there.
