JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. -- Ocean Springs Alderman James Hagan will not stand trial on a child exploitation charge.
The District Attorney’s office has decided not to prosecute the case because of a lack of evidence. Specially, the DA says they cannot prove that one of the two people in a sexually explicit video found on Hagan’s computer was under the age of 18. The case against Hagan is one of at least 13 Jackson County Sheriff Department cases the DA’s office is not prosecuting.
