JACKSON, Miss - The Haitian exchange student found dead in the capital city Sunday has been identified as 24-year old Kesnel Bonhomme. Bonhomme's girlfriend, Shantara Hines, told investigators he had car trouble while out with friends Saturday night. His friends left him by the car to get jumper cables, but when they returned he was dead.
As of now police are waiting on autopsy results to determine if Bonhomme was beaten to death and no arrests have been made.
Bohomme was a business major at Hines Community College and was set to graduate in three months. He had been working in the United States for nine years to support his family in Haiti. He and his girlfriend also had a one-year-old daughter.
