Mississippi Electoral Votes Go To Romney

 

JACKSON, Miss. – The Six members of Mississippi’s Electoral College met in Jackson today and cast their votes for Mitt Romney for President. 

The Republican carried Mississippi in the November General Election. 

All six electors are from the Metro Jackson area and were chosen at the state Republican Convention.  They join electors around the country in casting votes to formalize Democrat Barack Obama’s re-election.
