LUCEDALE, Miss. – One man is dead and two others are in critical condition after a Sunday morning shooting in Lucedale. Shonna Peirce with the George County Sheriff’s Department says the incident started when three men confronted another man who was doing doughnuts in his truck on a neighbor’s property.
 
“The aggressor Clifford Preston Bryd, age 26, went to the trailer home of the three men and knocked on the door. They opened the door and he began to fire,” said Peirce.
 
Nathan Mitchel White, 27 was killed at the scene, his father Jerald Cochran was injured severely.
 
“The younger son 20-year-old Ryan White was able to retrieve a weapon nearby and shoot the aggressor, hitting him several times.”
 
The aggressor was taken to a Pascagoula hospital. The father was taken to an Alabama hospital. Both remain in critical condition as the investigation continues
