OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. -- A hit and run in Ocean Springs sent one to the hospital and another woman to jail over the weekend. The accident happened Sunday morning around 1 a.m. when the driver of a White Ford Explorer struck a woman crossing the street.
According to WLOX, shortly after the drive by, Lisa Bele Sanchez of Biloxi was taken into custody charged with a DUI and leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.
The victim was taken to a hospital with road rash, cuts, bruises, and facial trauma.
