Warmer Weather on Tap After One More Frigid Night
JACKSON, Miss.--Many of you woke up this morning to 20s for temps. You'll see one more night of freezing temperatures before warmer air moves in, giving you a warmer, but wet Sunday.
Mississippi will not see any of the snow that is plaguing the midwest. The National Weather Service says after waking up Saturday morning to temperatures in the mid 20s north to 30 on the coast, you'll see a sunny Saturday, with highs in the low 60s.
Sunday a rainy weather pattern begins north. By Monday, most of the state will see rain and it is likely going to stick around for Christmas Day, with a high in the mid 60s.
