MERIDIAN, Miss. -- Shots fired at a Meridian nightclub leave one dead and three wounded. It happened in the early morning hours Wednesday just after midnight. We spoke with Captain Dean Harper with the Meridian Police Department.
“There was some type of altercation in the club, which lead into the parking lot and out on the street. Numerous rounds were fired and four individuals were hit. One of them died at the hospital from their wounds,” said Harper.
According to reports the victims were between the ages of 18 and 21. Of the three that survived, one was shot in the hand, one was shot in in the leg, and other took a bullet to the lower abdomen. Lauderdale County Coroner Clay Cobler tells the Clarion Ledger the deceased has been identified 21-year-old Rodriguez Boudreau.
