BATESVILLE, Miss. – A Jackson woman has been found dead in Batesville after she went missing Christmas Eve. Lt. George Williford of the Batesville Police Department says they do have a suspect in custody that is being held on a million dollar bond, but as of now the department has not released the names of either individual.  However, television station WJTV has identified the victim as Cera White Cannon and the suspect as 36-year-old Michael Wright.
 
The victim’s family tells WJTV White was last seen around 10 a.m. Monday while doing last minute Christmas shopping. They also say Wright had a history of stalking Cannon.
 
As for now the investigation is ongoing.
