HATTIESBURG, Miss.--Several gay, lesbian, trans-gender and bi-sexual couples applied for, and were turned for, marriage licenses. They told us they did it as part of the "We Do" campaign and their aim is to bring attention to Mississippi and other states that do not allow legal gay marriage.
We asked the question on our Facebook page, "Do you believe Mississippi should allow some kind of law to allow a partnership between gay or lesbian couples?"
The response, so far, has been enormous. It's a hot-button question, but our question prompted the most responses to any question we have ever posed on our Facebook page.

Everyone has the RIGHT to voice their own opinion... we live in united states..... I do not believe that they should have any such law allowing gays to marry... my opinion and i am not judging....

I would be amazed that most of the people who say "no " even know how to read. Along with the prejudices that are being stated, the illiteracy is one of the stereotypes that really make feel ashamed to be apart of this state. Drop your Bible and go back to elementary school! Saying that, if gays and lesbians want to be just as miserable as strait people when it comes to marriage, let them do it. I say YES!

If Adam and Eve populated the Earth than we would cease to exist as a species due to the negative effects of inbreeding depression... just saying.
It's sad that this question should even have to be asked. There is no race, we are one species. Some of these primates think they are better than others but they are not. If you can deny someone equal rights because they're different, then you need to reevaluate your morals because they're pathetic. Morality comes from within, not an old book.
