NATCHEZ, Miss. -- A Natchez liquor store worker gunned down and now police are on the lookout for four suspects. The victim was identified as 49-year-old Tyrone Bernard. Detective Jerry ford tells us Bernard shot when trying to close up shop.
“Four black males came from between the buildings and ambushed him in attempted robbery,” said Ford.
Ford says Bernard tried to drive away in his car while suffering from a gunshot wound. He did not wreck, but scrapped the side of a building with his car.
Bernard was pronounced dead on scene. Police have made no arrests and have no ID's on the suspects.
