Organizers of the Mississippi Gun Show in the Capital City say attendance and even sales for the two-day event were “fantastic.”
Bill Milstead expects the final numbers to show it was even a record breaker. Those numbers, driven he says by the fear of congress possibly limiting your rights to have a gun.
“A lot of people are just concerned. And since we don’t know, a lot of times that’s what causes people to kind of react and start doing things.”
And he talked with me about what most people were stocking up on. “Long guns, hand guns, things like that. But ammunition, they have sold out.”
And some of the vendors say sales at their local retail stores are on the rise too.
