KOSCIUSKO, Miss.--Donovan B. Love had a short-lived few minutes of freedom Monday. Attala County Sheriff Tim Nail said Love jumped the razor wire fence at the jail in Kosciusko just before 1 p.m.
Breezynews.com reports Love had his parole revoked in court earlier in the day and had gotten a ten-year sentence. Apparently that seemed too long and he escaped, leading deputies and officers from the Dept. of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks to join the search in a residential area near the jail.
Love was caught in short order and the sheriff said the stunt could add five years to his prison stay.
